Yertle the Turtle takes place in a pond and Yertle is the king of the turtles. Yertle is not very nice to the other turtles and makes them climb on top of each other and he stands on top of them and makes them carry him around. The age I would recommend this too is 7 and above because it is pretty long and some words are kind of hard to read. I did love this book as a kid and would defiantlyrecommend this to other parents and their kids.
