Children Story First Draft

Molly the Mallard's first Migration to Hawaii

Page 1: Molly the Mallard lived by the water with her loving mother and father.

Page 2: would splash splash slash the day away in the lake with her fish friends that always liked to play.

Page 3: She would fly high in the forest trees always saying hi to the bees.

Page 4: And when the sun went down at the end of the day, after a long day of play.
Molly would curl up in the nest and listen to the owls who's that put her to rest.

Page 5: Molly loved the lake where she lived but one day the air began to chill and the lake went still.

Page 6:Molly was sad the lake froze over but her mother and father were happy it was much colder.
"Don't frown Molly, Don't let the cold weather get you down." Her mother told her.

Page 7: "It's time for a migration vacation. Hurry let's pack our bags its time to go!" her father yelled.  "Whoopee off to Hawaii we go!"


Page 8: They flew far and wide, until they came across 8 island with a very high tide. Hawaii had bright blue water and weather that was a lot hotter.

Page 9: Molly's first day in Hawaii she spent on land playing with her new crap friends in the sand.

Page 10: The next day Molly decided to test the water. She made friends with a very friendly otter.

Page 11: The next day she while she was slashing in the sea she met a dolphin who asked her if she was brave and wanted to ride the wave?

Page 12: And after every long day of fun and play Molly would snuggle up by the sand and watch the sunset with a coconut in hand.

Page 13: After a while of water, sand and fun there time in Hawaii was done. And with a big ole sigh and a tear in her eye Molly had to say goodbye.

Page 14: "Don't worry little one we will be back next year for lots more fun and sun." her mother said.

Page 15: They flew back quick and fast back to the lake that was unfroze at last!

Page 16: Molly was so happy to see the bees in the trees. She was happy to splash in the lake all day with her fish friends that liked to play.

Page 17: And at the end of the day just before she went to sleep she remembered Hawaii and all the fun memories she would keep.
